Bible Stories You Thought You Knew is a monthly class which explores the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible) and incorporates a variety of classical Jewish commentaries to enhance our understanding of the Biblical text. This year we will work our way through the Book of 2 Kings as we continue on our mission to answer the question: "What happens after Deuteronomy?" This class is open to all who are interested. No prior knowledge is required to join this highly interactive learning session. Classes are relatively "stand alone" so you do not need to commit to attend all of the sessions for the entire year. Please note that many of our texts and discussions are rated "PG-13" for both violence and sexual content. We meet once per month, on Shabbat, during Kiddush lunch. Dates are listed below, though subject to occasional change.
