Families With Young Children

Welcome! COS is a vibrant place to share and enjoy with your youngest family members. We have a variety of opportunities for infants, preschoolers, or early grade-school children and a significant adult to learn and have fun together. Programs featuring music, movement, art, and stories are designed to be your child’s introduction to Jewish life at our congregation and to create connections with other families.

Shirei Shabbat

Friday 5:30 p.m. [Families with Toddlers through Kindergarteners]

Join Rabbi Kay to welcome Shabbat with music and movement after a quick nosh.

No charge, but RSVP requested.

Saturday 11 a.m. [Families with Toddlers through Kindergarteners]

Join families to celebrate Shabbat with singing, prayer, story, and movement. At the end of the program, children are invited to the bimah in the main service as Rabbi Kay hands out chocolate candies during the Aleinu prayer. Then families can join the congregation for the Kiddush lunch.
