MESSAGE FROM THE SISTERHOOD PRESIDENTS

Thanks to all of our fabulous Sisterhood members who helped to make the 2010 fiscal year a phenomenal success. We had many opportunities to make new friends and just mix and mingle with each other. We now proudly boast the largest Sisterhood membership in the history of Ohev Shalom.

In addition to the fun activities we love to do, we also continue to support many areas of COS, including the Religious School, the Jewish Theological Seminary through the Torah Fund, Kadima/USY, Camp Ramah, various synagogue needs, scholarships for summer camps, many youth activities and much, much more.

Whether you are a long-time member of COS Sisterhood or someone contemplating joining this fabulous group of Conservative Jewish women, we urge you to please join us this year. Membership in COS Sisterhood includes membership in the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism, the largest synagogue-based women’s organization in the world!

Thank you to all the women who have continued to be an important part of Sisterhood. We hope that if you have not yet participated in COS Sisterhood that you will consider joining us this year. We promise that you won’t regret it!
