Service Schedule

Erev Shabbat: Friday night at 7:30 PM

What Happened in Modern Jewish History During This Week”: Drawing from the chronicles of the Jewish Forward newspaper, Rabbi Rubinger and Rabbi Kay share insights from 50, 75, and 100 years ago this week. Join us for Erev Shabbat services on Friday night at 7:30 and take an informative look back at what was happening in the Jewish world.

Shabbat: Saturday Mornings 9:00 am
(Babysitting is provided)

Alternative Shabbat Services:  Ohev Shalom offers a series of once-a-month alternative Shabbat services in addition to our regular Erev Shabbat and Shabbat morning services.

“Friday Night CHAI!” – Cantor Allan Robuck leaves a lively musical Erev Shabbat service, complete with musical instruments and plenty of singing.

Minyan Yashar – Rabbi David Kay facilitates a “straight-ahead” traditional egalitarian Shabbat morning service, with lots of singing and a brief d’var Torah in lieu of a sermon.

Check the calendar for the exact dates of each month’s alternative services.

Junior Congregation : Davenators (Junior Congregation – grades K-5): meets 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday mornings. Led by Michele Davidson; check to COS online calendar for schedule.

Minyan:
Sunday at 9:00 AM – Jewish Academy of Orlando (formerly the Hebrew Day School)
Monday-Friday at 7:45 AM – community morning minyan at Jewish Academy of Orlando
