Rabbi Emeritus Dr. Rudolph J. Adler
Rabbi
Rudolph J. Adler came to Ohev Shalom from Cleveland,
Ohio in 1960. After 30 years of dedicated service
to Congregation Ohev Shalom he is now the Rabbi
Emeritus and continues to provide valuable
assistance to COS. Rabbi Adler also taught
at Rollins College for 30 years, was the recipient
of the National Conference of Christian and
Jews first Lifetime Achievement Award and served
as The Jewish Chaplan in Orlando both for the
Air Force and Navy for many years. His wife
of 60 years, Rose has accompanied the Rabbi
on visits to the hospital, Shivah Minyans,
as well as, many happy occasions COS member
families. Both continue to attend religious
services regularly and many other community
functions.
Rabbi and Rose Adler have
three children; Paul owns a Project Management
Consulting Business and lives in Ottawa, Canada
with his wife Par inaz and their two children;
Allan has his own Collection Agency and lives
with his wife, Ann in Orange, California; and
Rae, his daughter, is married to Dr. Paul Wallach
and lives in Tampa with their three children.
Rabbi Adler has made a positive impact on the
Orlando community for over 45 years together
with his loving wife, Rose.
