"Spiritual Jewish Parenting" - Continuing class - click here for details
The challenges found in the dynamic between parents and children -- regardless of their ages -- have been around as long as the human race. Not surprisingly, then, Judaism's ancient texts are a rich source of practical advice, insight, and wisdom. This class uses some of those texts as a jumping-off point for discussion, exploration, and sharing. Offered through the COS Adult Yeshiva program, "Spiritual Jewish Parenting" meets Wednesdays at 5:30 PM (the last hour of Hebrew school). Rabbi David Kay facilitates the class. Community Morning Minyan at Hebrew Day School
Monday through Friday at 7:45 AM in the second-floor chapel in the old building of the Hebrew Day School (on the JCC/Federation campus - exit I-4 at Maitland Blvd East); minyan begins at 9:00 AM on legal/national holidays. NOTE: When HDS is out of session, enter through the JCC.

"Project Ezra," COS's Erev Shabbat learning program kicks off a new series on Friday evening, 10/16 (Parshat B'reisheet). Join us at Erev Shabbat services, beginning at 7:30 PM, as Rabbi Rubinger and Rabbi Kay introduce you to "The Most Important People in the Bible You Never Heard Of."

101 of the greatest teachings, values, beliefs, and practices of Judaism -- taught by COS Senior Rabbi Aaron D. Rubinger. Each class will be taught twice each week: Thursdays at 7:00 PM and Tuesdays at 12:00 noon (beginning 10/27). Free of charge and open to the entire community.
